That Afternoon

Walking past the deli on 59th street that girl noticed that someone was following her. She had been living in New York for the past three months now so she already has the usual stalkers and is quite used to it; there are here friends who like to scare her and random guys (but they are always the same) who have an interest in her but have not tried to touch her in any way.

The first time she realized someone was following her it was one of the usual random guys who had found an interest in her. She didn't feel afraid when she had the feeling the first time or any of the times after that but this feeling is different from the others.

"This is different," she thought. "What do I do? Do I turn around or just glance over my shoulder naturally? This street is fairly busy, maybe I won't see who I'm looking for. Who am I looking for?"

That girl thought puzzledly to her self. Who would she be looking for. How can she tell who is following her on the crowed streets of New York City.

"Should I go down a fairly empty street and quickly glance back after a few steps or should I just ignore it until I get to Dani's house."

That girl thought aimlessly while walking. The fear she had felt had disappeared and she ignored the feeling of wondering why it had disappeared. She never once consciously thought whether the person stopped following her or maybe they stopped sending a threatening vibe.

"Can someone send and stop sending threatening vibes", she said aloud.

At Dani's house she expressed her feeling to her and the theories she was even shocked she could come up with.

"Maybe we watched way too many movies since we met. Your starting to sound crazy." Dani expressed while massaging that girls shoulders.
"Yeah you're right, maybe we have. hahaha. I didn't even know I couldn't come up with those kind of theories", she laughed in response to Dani.

Yet the uneasy feeling filled the air between the two of them and there was silence until Desmond walked in and they went about their day as usual. Neither told Desmond of the feeling that passed between them and neither wanted to.
